CONCEPT -FU-WA-
IMimetic words to mention about the state of the object by sounds is own way to express in japanese language. Our concept is one of mimetic words “FU-WA” which represent soft, flexible and elastic. We break and remake “FU-WA” sound, which is hiding in our life. This is the joyful design to rediscover it.

物事の状態などをいかにもそれらしく音にとらえた擬態語は、日本の言葉の表現の特徴です。私達はその擬態語である"FU-WA (ふわ)"という独特の軽さ・柔軟性や弾力性を表す言葉をテーマに、"FU-WA"という音の塊から発する響きを４人のデザイナーが各自自由に壊し、再構築してみました。日常に隠れている"FU-WA"を見つけて感じる喜びデザインです。
